About Vincennes

Vincennes is a city and the county seat of Knox County, Indiana, situated along the lower Wabash River. Founded in 1732 by French fur traders, the community of approximately 16,586 is the oldest continually inhabited European settlement in the state. Public education is served by the Vincennes Community School Corporation, and local high school students attend Lincoln High School.
