Vista West, WY

Vista West is a census-designated place in Natrona County on the western side of the Casper area, part of the Casper metropolitan map. The 2020 census counted 940 residents. The local map is built around subdivisions, county roads, and open high-plains ground, with Casper handling the larger jobs, shopping, airport, and school connections. Vista West’s neighborhood service districts and subdivision roads give the place its own small civic layer even though the larger daily orbit runs toward Casper. WYO 20/26 and nearby county roads lead into the city, while the open land around the subdivisions keeps the Wyoming scale in view. Vista West is small enough that road changes, neighborhood maintenance, and district boundaries matter, yet close enough to a regional center that many errands leave the CDP. It is a Casper-area residential pocket with a local name people use because the boundary still means something on the ground. The roads and service lines are the local version of a town center.
