Volga is a city in Brookings County, South Dakota, situated west of the Big Sioux River and southeast of Lake Goldsmith. Founded in 1879 by the Western Town Lot Company and hosting the Brookings County Museum in its city park, the community of approximately 2,408 is served by the Sioux Valley School District locally today.
