Wabasso Beach is a quiet seaside community located on the barrier island in Indian River County, Florida. Home to around 2,200 residents, it sits directly between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon, just north of Vero Beach. Living here means having easy access to uncrowded beaches, sea turtle nesting areas, and great surf spots. Wabasso Beach Park offers wooden boardwalks out to the sand, while County Road 510 connects the island directly across the water to the mainland.

Day-to-day life carries a relaxed pace centered around boating, fishing, and morning beach walks. As an unincorporated community, local parks, roads, and emergency services are managed by Indian River County, and families are served by the county school district. Most of the area consists of low-key residential neighborhoods and protected coastal dunes. When you need grocery shopping, restaurants, or medical facilities, the neighboring towns of Sebastian and Vero Beach are only a short drive away.
