Wagram, NC

Wagram is a Scotland County town named for the 1809 Battle of Wagram in Austria. The name gives the place a Napoleonic hook, but the local landscape is southeastern North Carolina sandhills, pine country, and rural roads. Wagram incorporated in 1911, and its town center still carries the feel of a small crossroads where county routes meet the farms and wooded tracts around them.
