Wailua Homesteads, HI

Wailua Homesteads is a census-designated place in Kauai County, inland from Wailua and Kapaa. It is bordered by Kapaa to the north, Wailua to the east, and the Wailua River and its north fork to the south. The setting gives the community a greener, more residential feel than the busier coastal strip. Wailua Homesteads is best understood as an inland Kauai place of homes, small roads, river valleys, and mountain views, close to services but away from the beach-town center.
