Waldo, AL

Waldo is a small town in Tallageda County, Alabama, located seven kilometers southeast of Talladega along Talladega Creek. The community is historically noted for the privately owned Waldo Covered Bridge, which spans the creek on an old Socopatoy Indian trail. The bridge lies behind Riddle's Mill, a historic grist mill that was later converted into the Waldo Town Hall and then a restaurant, drawing visitors to the area.
