Walkersville is a historic town in Frederick County, Maryland, situated just north of the city of Frederick. The community of approximately 6,400 features several landmarks listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Crum Road Bridge and the historic tollhouse. Local recreation is centered around Heritage Farm Park and Walkersville Community Park. The town hosts the annual Volunteer Fire Company Carnival during the week of the Fourth of July.
