About Walnut Ridge

Walnut Ridge is a city and the county seat of Lawrence County, Arkansas, situated in the Upper Delta region of the state's northeastern corner. Established in 1875 following the construction of the railroad, the city lies immediately north of the town of Hoxie. The community is home to Williams Baptist University and is served by the Lawrence County School District, which operates Walnut Ridge Elementary and High school facilities.
