Washington, AR

Washington is a quiet, historic community tucked into southwestern Arkansas, about ten miles northwest of Hope. Founded in 1824 along the pioneer route to Texas, the town is defined by Historic Washington State Park, which preserves dozens of nineteenth-century buildings right in the heart of town.
