About Waupun

Waupun is a city spanning Dodge and Fond du Lac counties, Wisconsin, situated along the Rock River. Founded in 1839 by pioneer Seymour Wilcox, the community of approximately 11,174 is noted for its collection of outdoor sculptures by Clarence Addison Shaler, including a bronze casting of James Earle Fraser's End of the Trail statue. Public education is served by the Waupun Area School District.
