Wedderburn, OR

Wedderburn sits on the north bank of the Rogue River, right across the historic Patterson Bridge from Gold Beach. Set along Highway 101 where the river meets the Pacific, the community got its start in the late 1800s as a salmon fishing hub named after a Scottish estate. Today, the arched bridge connects the two towns, giving residents wide-open water views and a direct link to the rest of the south coast.

Life here revolves around the river and the ocean, from world-class salmon fishing to jet boat trips up the Rogue. Because Wedderburn is mostly residential, locals make the short trip across the bridge into Gold Beach for grocery runs, restaurants, and local schools.
