About Wellston

Wellston is a quiet Lincoln County community of around 700 people, located about forty minutes northeast of Oklahoma City. The town got its start in the 1880s as a trading post founded by Christian Wells before growing into a settlement following the 1895 land run. Today, it offers a peaceful, open setting where neighbors know one another and daily life moves at a relaxed pace.
