Wellton, AZ

Wellton got its start back in the late 1800s as "Well Town," a simple railroad water stop for steam engines rolling through the desert. Over time, irrigation canals transformed the surrounding Wellton-Mohawk Valley into rich farmland, turning a dusty outpost into a tight-knit agricultural community. Today, the town retains that deep farming heritage, with green fields of alfalfa and winter vegetables spread out beneath wide-open desert skies.
