West Park, CA

West Park is a Fresno County census-designated place five miles southwest of downtown Fresno. West Park Elementary School District, a rural district established in 1885, serves the community from a campus at its center; the district covers about twenty-five square miles and primarily serves farmworker families. The place also touches larger Fresno-area school boundaries, which is why its name appears on several school maps. A county project completed in 2023 added a walking and biking path between the community and the elementary school. West Park sits on Fresno's southwest edge, a small place with its own school, roads, and name inside the wider agricultural valley.
