West Point, KY

West Point is a quiet river town of under a thousand residents, located on the banks of the Ohio River right where the Salt River flows in. Sitting along the Dixie Highway corridor between southwest Louisville and Elizabethtown, it gives newcomers a peaceful, small-town setting with an easy commute to Fort Knox. Originally established in the late 1700s as a frontier trading post and riverboat landing, the community still moves at an unhurried riverside pace.
