West Unity, OH

West Unity is a Williams County village at the intersection of US 127, US 20A, and State Route 191, with the Ohio Turnpike less than seven miles away. It was platted in 1842, and the post office has been part of the village since that same year. The local center of gravity is Millcreek-West Unity Schools, a PK-12 system serving West Unity and Alvordton, with Hilltop Elementary and Hilltop High School in the district. Downtown businesses, churches, parks, and the school share the same compact grid. West Unity is a northwest Ohio crossroads where the old post-office date and the modern school campus still bookend the village's story.
