Westbrook, ME

Westbrook is a small city just west of Portland, set along the Presumpscot River in southern Maine. It was originally known as Saccarappa, a name tied to Saccarappa Falls, and the river has long shaped the city's industrial history. Westbrook still feels closely connected to the Portland area, but it has its own downtown, local neighborhoods, and practical working-city character. It is also known regionally as the home of WMTW, southern Maine's ABC affiliate.
