Westfir, OR

Tucked into the Cascade foothills just a few minutes west of Oakridge, Westfir is a tiny, peaceful town of around 250 residents bordering the Willamette National Forest. It started out a century ago as a bustling lumber mill community, and that heritage is still visible today at the historic Office Covered Bridge. Stretching 180 feet across the river, it is the longest covered bridge in Oregon and serves as a scenic landmark where locals walk their dogs and take in views of the water.
