Westmoreland is a town in Oneida County, New York, United States. The 2010 census counted 6,138 residents. Westmoreland is in the west-central part of the county. The New York State Thruway passes across the town. Westmoreland comprises an elementary school, an upper elementary school, and a junior-senior high school.
