Windsor, CO

Windsor began in the late 1800s as a quiet farming stop situated right between Fort Collins and Greeley. When the sugar beet boom hit northern Colorado, the town grew quickly around its bustling railroad depot and sugar factory. Immigrant families, first German-Russians and later Latino workers from across the Southwest and Mexico, settled in to work the fields and plants. Commuting across Northern Colorado is simple thanks to quick access to Interstate 25 and Highway 392, putting Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley within an easy drive. The town has grown steadily over the last decade, expanding across both Weld and Larimer counties.
