Wonderland Homes, SD

Wonderland Homes is a Meade County CDP that feels more like a subdivision than a town. It sits on the eastern edge of the Black Hills between Summerset and Piedmont, with I-90 just west, Rapid City about eleven miles southeast, and Sturgis about seventeen miles northwest. The name is memorable, but the origin story has not left a clear public trail. Meade School District 46-1 covers the neighborhood, and a few small businesses share the residential layout.
