About Woodstock

Woodstock is a town and the county seat of Shenandoah County, Virginia, situated along the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. Established by charter in 1761 as one of the first towns west of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the community of approximately 5,871 borders Seven Bends State Park. Public education is served by Shenandoah County Public Schools.
