About Wynne

Wynne is the largest city and the county seat of Cross County, Arkansas, set along the transition zone between the fertile Arkansas Delta and the elevations of Crowley's Ridge. Named after Captain Jesse Watkins Wynne, the city serves as the closest gateway to Village Creek State Park, the state's second-largest park. Wynne is also an educational hub, hosting a branch of East Arkansas Community College and operating a school district with four local campuses.
