Yachats is a coastal city in southern Lincoln County, Oregon, situated between the Oregon Coast Range and the Pacific Ocean. Deriving its name from a Siletz word meaning at the foot of the mountain and hosting Amanda's Trail along Cape Perpetua, the scenic tourist community of approximately 979 is served by the Lincoln County School District.
