Yuma, TN

Yuma is a small, quiet community in the countryside of Carroll County, home to around a hundred residents. Settled in the mid-1800s and originally called Grovewood, it was later renamed Yuma after a word understood to mean good, peaceful, and progressive. The area grew into a busy railroad farming stop with sawmills, cotton gins, and local stores. Today, it offers relaxed rural living surrounded by open farmland, with neighboring towns like Huntingdon and Lexington close by for shopping and dining.
