Data: All-student administrative-district combined math-and-reading Grade Year Standardized learning-rate estimates, using Stanford's recommended Empirical-Bayes estimate and adjusted standard error.
What it tells us: Shows average grade-to-grade progress among tested public-school cohorts in grades 3-8, where 1.0 is one 2019-national-reference grade level per grade. It is not achievement level, a calendar-time trend, or causal school effectiveness.
