Adamsville, TN

Adamsville is a McNairy County city near the Hardin County line, set at the crossroads of Highways 64 and 22 and about three miles from the Tennessee River. George D. Adams operated an inn and stagecoach stop here in the 1840s, and that road-and-river beginning still fits the town's map. City Hall, the library, community center, schools, and the Buford Pusser Memorial Park sit within a compact local circuit, while the highways carry longer trips toward Jackson, Memphis, and the surrounding Tennessee Valley.

Adamsville's strongest landmarks are tied to its own stories. The Buford Pusser Home and Museum occupies the former sheriff's home, and the annual Buford Pusser Festival brings people back to the memorial park with music, sports, and community events.
