Agra, OK

Agra is a town in northern Lincoln County, Oklahoma, United States. The 2020 census counted 311 residents. An early real estate developer coined the town's name from the word "agriculture". Agra began to form around the turn of 20th century. That mix gives Agra a clear local shape within Oklahoma, with older layers still visible in current places. The local scoop is a place whose streets, landmarks, and institutions keep its earlier story close to the present. A post office opened in Agra on December 20, 1902, with Isaac C. Agra is 14 miles north of Chandler, the Lincoln County seat, on State Highway 18.
