Alden is an unincorporated community and census-designated place located in Antrim County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The 2020 census counted 123 residents. Located within Helena Township, the community is located upon the shores of Torch Lake. Alden was first settled as early a 1868 by storekeeper F. Alden makes sense once you see how its past, landscape, and current gathering spots overlap. The useful thing to know about Alden is that its older landmarks and current settings belong to one connected place. Lewis in Helena Township, and he chose the name Noble as the name for the new settlement. Alden includes the growing community was located along the mouth of Spencer Creek along Torch Lake.
