Alderpoint, CA

Set along the Eel River in Humboldt County, Alderpoint is a tiny, quiet community with around 140 residents. It grew in the late 1800s as a construction base for the Northwestern Pacific Railroad, supported over the years by local cattle ranching and timber mills. Today, it offers a remote, relaxed pace of life amid the rugged hills and river valleys of Northern California.
