About Alexandria

Alexandria is a city in Campbell County, Kentucky, located fourteen miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio, along U.S. Route 27. Established as a dual seat of the county alongside Newport, the community of approximately 10,600 was first settled by the Spilman family of Virginia in the late eighteenth century. Zoned within the Campbell County School District, the city hosts the annual county agricultural fair and serves as a residential residential suburb.
