Alix, AR

Alix is a small unincorporated community and census-designated place in Franklin County, Arkansas. It sits just east of Denning, in the Arkansas River Valley side of the state, and has the sparse footprint of a rural crossroads rather than a town with a large center. The community is useful to understand by its county setting, nearby roads, and relationship to surrounding small places. Alix is residential, local, and lightly populated.
