Alliance, NC

Alliance is a small, quiet town located in the coastal plain of Pamlico County, North Carolina. With a population of around 700 people, the area is mostly made up of open farm fields, quiet country roads, and scattered homes. The community originally took its name from the late nineteenth-century Farmers Alliance, and that neighborly, down-to-earth feel has stayed intact over the generations.

Life in Alliance moves at a relaxed pace, but it is easy to get around to everything you need. The town sits along Highway 55 next to Bayboro and Grantsboro, so local shops, schools, and county services are only a few minutes down the road. For larger grocery runs, restaurants, and medical centers, New Bern is about thirty minutes west, while nearby coastal spots like Oriental offer easy access to boating and fishing on the river and sound.
