Sitting along the eastern shores of Palisades Reservoir just north of Alpine, Alpine Northwest is a small, quiet pocket of around 300 residents. Life here revolves around the outdoors, with easy access to boating on the water, fishing where the Snake, Salt, and Greys rivers meet, and exploring the surrounding mountain trails. It also serves as a scenic, less crowded base for people commuting up the canyon to Jackson.
