About Andalusia

Andalusia is a city and the county seat of Covington County, Alabama, located slightly northwest of the county's geographical center. The town was originally settled in 1841 when severe flooding of the nearby Conecuh River forced residents to seek higher ground. Today Andalusia is a center of local commerce and public services, home to Lurleen B. Wallace Community College and served by the independent Andalusia City Schools district.
