Ansonia, CT

Ansonia is a Naugatuck Valley city in western Connecticut, built along the Naugatuck River. The river corridor shaped the area's early settlement and later industrial growth, with wealthy industrial families once leaving their mark on the city. Ansonia sits beside Derby and Shelton, and still carries the feel of an old mill city: compact neighborhoods, hillside streets, factory history, local schools, and a working-class valley identity within commuting range of New Haven and Bridgeport.
