About Apache Junction

Apache Junction is a desert-edge city in Pinal and Maricopa counties, east of the Phoenix metro and right up against the Superstition Mountains. Its name comes from the junction of the Apache Trail and Old West Highway, and that old-road, desert-frontier feel still matters. The Superstition Mountain Museum, Apache Trail access, mobile-home communities, and wide-open desert views all help define the place. Apache Junction is not polished Phoenix suburbia; it is more rugged, practical, and closely tied to the mountains beside it.
