Ashaway, RI

Ashaway is a quiet, historic village tucked into the southern corner of Hopkinton, Rhode Island. Home to around 1,500 residents, the community grew up along the Ashaway River, where mill history dates back to the 1820s with the famous Ashaway Line and Twine Company. Today, historic homes and tree-lined roads give the village a classic New England feel. Families moving to the area are served by Ashaway Elementary, part of the well-regarded Chariho Regional School District shared with neighboring Charlestown and Richmond.
