Ashley, IN

Ashley is a quiet community of around 1,000 residents straddling the DeKalb and Steuben county line in northeastern Indiana. Located right off I-69, it offers a peaceful rural setting with easy access to neighboring employment hubs. Families are served by DeKalb Central schools, and local recreation is anchored by several well-kept parks. Sunset Park features walking trails, ball diamonds, and a fishing pond, while the cheerful smiley-face water tower at Ashley Memorial Park serves as the town's most recognizable landmark.

The town originally grew as a bustling railroad stop in the 1890s, a legacy that still carries on with active tracks running along the edge of town.
