Atkins, AR
Atkins is a city in Pope County, Arkansas, and part of the Russellville Micropolitan Statistical Area. The city is named for Elisha Atkins, a Boston sugar importer who financed the Little Rock and Fort Smith Railroad; the town was platted in 1872 as the railroad pushed west.
