About Aurora

Located along Highway 99E in the northern Willamette Valley, Aurora is a quiet historic town of about 1,100 people. Originally founded in 1856 as a communal society, the city has kept its 19th-century character intact. Today, the walkable downtown is a National Historic District filled with antique shops, bakeries, and local eateries. It gives residents a peaceful, rural feel while keeping them within an easy commute of both Portland and Salem.
