Avon, CO

Avon is a home-rule town in Eagle County, Colorado, situated along the Eagle River and the Interstate 70 corridor. Famous as the gateway to the Beaver Creek Resort, which lies two miles to the south, the community of approximately 6,000 offers a year-round mountain lifestyle. Local recreation is centered around Nottingham Lake and Nottingham Park, which host paddleboarding in the summer and winter activities. The town served as the physical headquarters for Vail Resorts until 2006.
