Baggs, WY

Tucked into the scenic Little Snake River Valley right above the Colorado border, Baggs is a quiet, tight-knit town with deep Western roots. Home to around 400 people, it serves as the main hub for the valley's surrounding ranching communities, including Dixon and Savery. Highway 789 runs right through town, connecting residents to Rawlins about 75 miles north, though day-to-day life here moves at a peaceful, self-reliant pace surrounded by wide-open high desert landscapes.
