About Bardonia

Bardonia is a hamlet and census-designated place in the town of Clarkstown, Rockland County, New York, situated north of the New York State Thruway. Named in honor of the Bardon brothers who emigrated from Bavaria in 1849 to establish local businesses, the residential community of approximately 3,717 is served by the Clarkstown Central School District, which operates Bardonia Elementary School.
