Barry, TX

Barry is a quiet, tiny community in northwestern Navarro County, sitting along State Highway 22 about ten miles outside Corsicana. The town got its start in the late 1880s as a railroad stop and cotton hub, quickly growing to include local shops, a hotel, and its own weekly newspaper. Though those early boom days have passed, Barry has kept its relaxed rural charm and tight-knit neighborhood feel.

With a population of around 220, the town offers wide-open farmland and a peaceful pace. Families are served by the nearby Blooming Grove Independent School District, and a quick fifteen-minute drive down the highway puts you right in Corsicana for groceries, healthcare, and dining. It gives residents easy country living with everyday essentials just down the road.
