Cahoon Memorial Park serves as the heart of the community, stretching from Wolf Road all the way down to the lake. Originally settled by the Cahoon family in the early 1800s, the land was gifted to the city over a century ago and now provides wide green lawns for everyone to enjoy. The grounds feature the historic Rose Hill Museum, walking paths along Cahoon Creek, a rose garden, community buildings, and sports fields. Throughout the year, residents gather here for youth sports, community events, and the annual Bay Days festival with carnival rides and Fourth of July fireworks. In the winter, the park hills become one of the most popular sledding spots on the west side.
