Beach City, OH

Beach City is a Stark County village along Sugar Creek, where the 2020 census counted 940 residents. The village is part of the Canton-Massillon metropolitan area, but its map still follows creek country and the roads of southwestern Stark County. Beach City took its name from Henry Beach, a railroad official, tying the community's name to the transportation network that helped shape many Ohio towns.

South of the village, a cave known locally as Machan's Rock adds a bit of local lore to the Sugar Creek landscape. Beach City sits within the wider Sugar Creek Township area, alongside Brewster and Wilmot, and its roads lead toward the larger communities of eastern Stark County.
