About Belen

Belen is the second-largest city in Valencia County, New Mexico, nicknamed the Hub City following the 1907 completion of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway line. Hosting the historic Harvey House Museum and the Valencia County Fairgrounds, the community of approximately 7,450 is served by the Belen Consolidated Schools district for public primary and secondary education.
