Bennetts Switch is a quiet rural community in southern Miami County, located along State Road 18 just east of U.S. 31. Originally established in the nineteenth century as a stop along the Lake Erie and Western Railroad, the area took its name from early landowner Baldwin M. Bennett. Today, it offers peaceful country living surrounded by open farmland, giving residents plenty of space and a relaxed pace.
